Orla & Ben

Gloster House,Ireland

What stays with me most about Orla and Ben is how present they were. Orla has this laugh that takes over her whole face, and when they walked back down that aisle together as husband and wife, she was completely and utterly lit up. Ben couldn't stop smiling either. That ease between them, that genuine delight in each other, is what made every frame feel effortless. Gloster House gave them a stunning backdrop, but honestly, they didn't need much help.

How they found me

Orla and Ben came to me through a past couple, which is always the most special way to begin. From our very first conversation it was clear they had a strong vision and trusted me completely to bring it to life alongside them. On the day itself we stole a quiet moment in the grounds among the manicured topiary just as the winter light was fading, and that is where some of my favourite images from the entire year were made.

Helena & Stephen

National Gallery of Ireland

Helena and Stephen first fell in love with this building long before their wedding day. Stephen proposed to Helena inside the National Gallery of Ireland, so returning to say their vows there was never a question. A ceremony among the masters, a first look in extraordinary light, and a dinner table where every single name holder was a miniature painting, hand painted by Helena herself.
