Maddie & Declan

Dromoland Castle, Ireland

Some weddings feel like they were always meant to happen exactly this way, in exactly this place. Maddie and Declan's day at Dromoland Castle was one of them.

Maddie made her way down one of the longest, most striking aisles I have ever photographed, a pale runner stretching the full length of the castle lawns

The ceremony itself took place beneath a stone temple folly overlooking the grounds, its dome and columns softened by an abundance of white roses and hydrangea spilling across the grass.

Helena & Stephen

National Gallery of Ireland

Helena and Stephen first fell in love with this building long before their wedding day. Stephen proposed to Helena inside the National Gallery of Ireland, so returning to say their vows there was never a question. A ceremony among the masters, a first look in extraordinary light, and a dinner table where every single name holder was a miniature painting, hand painted by Helena herself.
