Frequently Asked Questions

How do you describe your photography style?

My style is editorial wedding photography with a romantic and documentary approach. I capture your day as it naturally unfolds, focusing on moments that feel honest, elegant, and unstaged. During portraits, I offer gentle direction to help you feel confident and at ease. The result is a collection that feels both artful and deeply personal.

What is your approach to photographing a wedding?

I take a calm, documentary approach to wedding photography, blending into the day while capturing honest, in-between moments. We plan together in advance, covering your timeline, group photo list, and portrait session needs, so everything flows smoothly. I guide you gently when it serves the image, then melt into the background so your moments unfold authentically. I am present without being intrusive. My goal is for you to feel supported, relaxed, and fully present while I preserve the real atmosphere of your wedding.

Do you do travel for weddings?

Yes, I offer destination wedding photography across Europe with multi-day coverage available. Whether it’s a sun-soaked coastline, a hilltop chapel, or a villa filled with celebration, I’m honoured to capture every detail. To keep things simple, I ask couples to cover round-trip airfare, two nights’ accommodation, and ground transport. I cover meals, extra nights, and personal expenses. Everything is agreed in advance so the experience is seamless and stress-free.

Do you work with a second photographer?

For larger or multi location celebrations I often bring a second photographer to ensure every story thread is documented fully. This can be added to any collection.

Do you shoot digital or analogue?

Both. Digital offers speed and versatility. Analogue film offers depth, imperfection, and that timeless painterly texture that feels truly heirloom.

How do you ensure the safety of our wedding photos?

Every wedding is photographed using two professional cameras with dual memory cards, so each image is backed up the moment it's taken. After the day, your photos are saved to two hard drives and uploaded to secure cloud storage. Your final gallery is delivered online and serves as an additional backup. From capture to delivery, I take every step to protect your memories with care and intention.

How long does it take to get our wedding photos?

You’ll receive a preview selection within 3 days of your wedding, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Your full gallery will be delivered within 8 to 10 weeks, depending on the season. I accept a limited number of weddings annually to maintain creative presence and to ensure every couple receives an exceptional experience.

How do you handle the wedding day timeline?

Timing shapes everything. A well-considered timeline is what creates space for the images you'll love most, and I take that seriously. Before your wedding day I'll review your timeline in detail and flag anything that might feel rushed or that could benefit from a little more breathing room, particularly around your portrait session. On the day itself, I work closely with your planner or coordinator to keep things moving without anyone feeling hurried. If something shifts, I adapt. My job is to protect the flow of your day as much as it is to document it.

How many photos will be delivered?

Every wedding is unique, and the final number of photographs depends on your timeline, the flow of the day, and how many elements we are documenting. On average, a full wedding gallery usually includes between 800 and 1000 photographs. These are individually curated, colour graded, and artistically refined, so every image you receive feels intentional and meaningful.

How involved are you in the planning process?

More than you might expect. Once you're booked, we'll have a planning call in the lead up to your wedding where we go through your timeline, your group photo list, your portrait session, and anything else that matters to you on the day. I want to understand how your day is flowing before I arrive, so nothing feels rushed and there's genuine space for the images to breathe. I'm also happy to liaise with your planner or coordinator directly if that helps. The more connected everyone is in advance, the calmer and more intentional the day feels for everyone, including you.

Do you work with wedding content creators?

Yes, and I genuinely welcome it. A content creator capturing behind-the-scenes moments on their phone adds something lovely to the day, and it doesn't interfere with what I do at all. I also regularly work alongside videographers, and that collaboration is always welcomed. The only thing I ask is that any content creator attending is using a mobile phone rather than professional-grade equipment. When someone arrives with a mirrorless or DSLR camera, it can blur roles on the day, create confusion around creative direction, and impact the flow of the timeline. It's not about being precious. It's about making sure your photography is protected and that there is a clear lead creative on the day.

What does the lead up to the wedding day look like?

From the moment you book, you're supported. Once your retainer is in place and your date is secured, I'll be in touch to introduce myself properly and let you know what to expect at each stage. In the months before your wedding we'll have a planning call to go through your timeline, your portrait session, your group photo list, and anything else that feels important to you. This is also a chance to ask any questions and for me to get a real sense of how you want the day to feel. In the final weeks I'll check in again to make sure everything is in place. By the time your wedding day arrives, we'll already know each other, and that matters. The most relaxed, natural images come from couples who feel at ease, and that ease starts long before the day itself.
