The art of draping
This project began with a phone call and an idea. Tina from The Wild Bunch, one of the most instinctive florists working in Ireland today, wanted to showcase her draping work in a way that felt alive, not just documented. She found the location, brought the vision, and trusted me to bring the rest.

This project began with a phone call and an idea. Tina from The Wild Bunch, one of the most instinctive florists working in Ireland today, wanted to showcase her draping work in a way that felt alive, not just documented. She found the location, brought the vision, and trusted me to bring the rest.

The art of draping
The space she created was extraordinary. Yards of fabric pooled across the floor, black and white silk in tension with each other, dramatic and soft at once. Clusters of candles sat low among the gathered tulle, their light catching the folds and making everything feel like it was breathing.

The tablescape carried that same intention, dusty rose draping overhead, pillar candles rising between scattered pears and dark grapes, the whole thing feeling closer to a painting than a wedding table. Every detail had been considered, and it showed.

The day itself was unhurried. Sinead from The One brought her eye to the styling, Aisling Dowling to makeup, and Anna O Veils completed everything with the most considered finishing touch. It was the kind of collaboration where everyone trusted each other, and that ease showed up in the work.
